First Dublin Property Renovated Under Repair & Leasing Scheme Unveiled

The first Dublin property renovated under the Repair & Leasing Scheme was unveiled earlier today.

The property, operated by housing and homeless charity Peter McVerry Trust, will be available for a formerly homeless family of three to move into this weekend.

According to a statement by the charity, Antoni, the mother of two daughters has spent the last two years living in a hotel with her children.

The statement reads:

“The house, which was empty for three years, was secured under the Repair and Lease scheme. It is the first property Peter McVerry Trust has delivered under this scheme.”

Furthermore, Peter McVerry Trust says it took eight weeks to renovate the property.
