The Vaults To Open Its Doors End Of June

The Vaults, a new tourist attraction in Dublin City centre, is set to open its door on the 30th of June. The attraction will have six scenes spread across four floors of the old Augistinian St John’s National School in Dublin 8. Each of these scenes will feature 360° sets with state of the art lighting, lavish costumes and special effects designed to immerse visitors in the stories on show.

The operators of the attraction, Frontier Entertainment, are renovating the location in Dublin 8 for €5 million. The Vaults will feature hour long tours where visitors will be taken through the six scenes, some true and some fictional. They will have up to 30 tours a day, for 35 people a tour, taking guest through the scenes penned by playwright Peter Sheridan.

The attraction will provide 50 new jobs, with more than half of them being actors, making it the largest employer of performing artists in Ireland.
