Two Recycling Centre’s In Dublin Are Taking Combustible Materials Free Of Charge

Coolmine Recycling Centre in Coolmine Industrial Estate and Estuary Recycling Centre in Swords are now collecting beds, sofas and doors free of charge from its residents.

Various combustible materials will be accepted until Tuesday, October 31st.

The announcement comes from Fingal County Council.

A spokesperson from the council said:

“This concession is being provided in an effort to reduce the amount of material which may otherwise be disposed of on bonfires locally with consequent Health & Safety risks and damage to public open spaces.”

Proof of address is required for residents wishing to avail of these services.

A Council spokesperson added:

“Please note that large vans or commercial vehicles are no longer allowed access to the Recycling Centre without prior arrangement.”
