Kildare County Council’s Local Enterprise Office (LEO) are delighted to congratulate their client company Equine MediRecord on securing an investment of €10 million from Chicago-based private equity firm Merit Holdings, through their Inova Group Holdings platform, which also previously acquired Business Infusions, the largest equine veterinary software group in the world.

Historic Site In Kildare Joins New World Heritage Tentative List For Ireland
The Royal Sites of Ireland, a group of six unique collectives of largely prehistoric monuments and sites, have been announced as one of three successful bids to be added to Ireland’s Tentative List for World Heritage status. Dún Ailinne, (Knockaulin) in Kildare, is one of the six historic site, and is located on private land owned by the Thompson Family on the outskirts of Kilcullen.

2,000 Children Take Part In Aldi Community Games National Athletics Track And Field Finals
2,000 children from all over Ireland travelled to SETU Carlow Sports Complex to take part in the first of the National Aldi Community Games events. Children aged between six and sixteen competed in the National Athletics Track and Field Finals with 28 different track events and 14 field events starting from 9am until 7pm.

A virtual public consultation room on the proposed Limerick City Greenway has gone live and offers the public an opportunity to view and comment on the proposed designs. The virtual room will guide people through the proposals for a new fully accessible 6.8km long greenway between the UL Boat Club and Annacotty village and locations in between and will be 3.5 – 4.0m wide.
