Irish Sea Contractors has been selected by Dublin Port Company as the provider of diving services on their single party framework agreement. Dublin Port Company is responsible for operating and developing Dublin Port which is the largest freight and passenger port in Ireland, handling almost 50% of all trade in the Republic of Ireland.
The scope of work under this framework includes underwater inspections of port vessels and all berths, removal of debris from river and berth areas, inspection of underwater steelwork on ramps and quay walls, undermining surveys and repairs, and monitoring of corrosion.
Irish Sea Contractors’ Managing Director, David Barrett, commented on the contract win,
