Dublin Book Festival Autumn Series 2021

Dublin Book Festival is excited to bring three new and exciting events to screens this Autumn. They’ll be hosting events to celebrate the launch of three spectacular books. 

Bestselling author Cecelia Ahern will join them on 4th September to talk to Sam Blake about her new novel ‘Freckles’, life as an Irish writer, and her continued inspirations. Freckles is a heartwarming story about finding your place in world and is bound to be a favourite with Ahern fans. 

‘Freckles’ is a beautiful book of hope, of discovering who you are, and growing into your own skin. Filmed in the beautiful surrounds of Rathfarnham Castle, Ahern will be in conversation with best-selling author Sam Blake to discuss writing the book, what inspires her continued writing, and life as one of the biggest selling modern authors.

On 14th October, Kodaline lead singer Steve Garrigan will speak to Fergal D’Arcy about his deeply personal memoir, ‘High Hopes’. This exclusive interview and musical performance with one of Ireland’s most prominent musicians is not one to be missed.

Radio producer and presenter D’Arcy will join Garrigan in the historic surrounds of Rathfarnham Castle to talk about the joys of music, his experience growing up in Dublin, and how he overcame anxiety, depression and panic attacks to succeed as lead singer of the hugely successful band Kodaline. 

Hypnotist, mentalist and brain hacker Keith Barry will be joining us on 24th October for a very special performance and an interview with Gerry Kelly. Barry is with us to celebrate and discuss the release of his latest book, ‘Brain Hacks’. 

In the book, Keith reveals a variety of techniques that will help you to cultivate a champion mindset and develop mental toughness subconsciously. 

All of these events will be streamed online from Rathfarnham Castle. Ticket options include the possibility of purchasing a signed copy of the book with your ticket.
