€9.2m Construction Project To Create 49 New Houses In Carrigaline

A contract has been signed for a €9.2m construction project set to create 49 new housing units at a greenfield site in Kilnagleary, Carrigaline, Co. Cork.

The scheme forms part of Cork County Council’s Social Housing Capital Programme through which 570 additional units of social housing will be made available in 2018 and over 3,000 dwellings by 2021.

The units will be a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom two storey houses.

Deputy Mayor Ian Doyle together with Chief Executive of the Council Tim Lucey were responsible for signing contracts with Cormac Smith of MMD Construction (Cork) Ltd.
