Fianna Fáil Councillor Tom Brabazon elected Lord Mayor of Dublin

Fianna Fáil Councillor Tom Brabazon was elected Lord Mayor of Dublin at a Special Meeting of Dublin City Council tonight.

The position of Lord Mayor was left vacant following the election of Paul Mc Auliffe to the Dáil. Cllr Brabazon was first co-opted onto Dublin City Council in 2003 and has served as Deputy Lord Mayor since June 2019. He represents the Donaghmede Local Electoral Area.
