The first two schemes in the €50 million Tourism Business Continuity Programme 2022 open for applications this week.
The Strategic Tourism Transport Business Continuity Scheme opens for applications today, 11th January 2022, and will support eligible tourism transport operators including Coach Tourism Operators, Tourism Chauffeur, Limousine Services and Escorted Private Tours.
The Strategic Ireland Based Inbound Agents Tourism Business Continuity Scheme opens for applications tomorrow, 12th January 2022, and will support Republic of Ireland based Inbound Tour Operators, Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs) who package, sell and market Ireland’s tourism product overseas.
The €50million allocation was secured by Minister Catherine Martin T.D. in Budget 2022 to fund further Schemes under the Tourism Business Continuity Scheme to help sustain strategic tourism businesses.
Further Schemes under the Tourism Business Continuity Scheme for Attractions and Activities Providers and Tourism Accommodation Providers will commence in early March 2022.
