Leading manufacturer of heating technologies Grant has unveiled the latest addition to its extensive product portfolio – the Grant Aerona3 R32 air source heat pump range. The new range of A+++ heat pumps, available in outputs of 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW, incorporates the more environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant which champions a lower global warming potential than typical heat pump refrigerants and meets legislative targets included in the 2014 EU Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas (F-Gas) Regulations.
With an energy rating of A+++, this new range exceeds the exceptional performance already associated with the Aerona3 brand and provides a cleaner, more sustainable operation which can help to reduce a property’s overall carbon footprint. Models within the range incorporate several clever features including the ability to modulate up or down depending on the climate conditions and demand on the heating system at the time. This ensures that the end user is being as efficient as possible while also helping the unit achieve an impressive seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) of four, meaning that for every 1kW of electricity used to power the heat pump, four times the amount of heating energy is being generated in return.
With a compact design and low-noise operation, the Aerona3 R32 heat pumps are designed to have minimum impact on their surroundings. The 13kW and 17kW models were recently recognised by Quiet Mark, the international award programme which validates and awards low-noise, high-performance technologies. Following acoustic testing and assessment associated with this accolade, the models were subsequently recognised for their quiet operation.
The Aerona3 R32 air source heat pump range forms an integral part of Grant’s fully-integrated Multiple Package Solutions offering which designs, quotes and supplies a property’s entire heating requirements under the one roof. This free of charge service combines the specialist knowledge of Grant’s Technical Team with its extensive product portfolio and can help unlock a new level of efficiency for a property’s heating system, in addition to long-term savings for the homeowner.
