IBM to Hire 200 People Across its Operations in Ireland

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar TD and IDA Ireland have welcomed the news that IBM is to hire 200 people across its operations in Ireland.  The new jobs being created range from research, development, and innovation (RD&I) roles to digital sales and are across IBM’s three locations in Ireland (Dublin, Cork, and Galway). Recruitment has already commenced and is expected to be completed over the coming number of months.

Welcoming the new investment by IBM, An Tánaiste and Minister for Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar TD, said, “this latest announcement by IBM builds on what has been a long and fruitful relationship between the company and Ireland. IBM is a great example of a company embracing constant innovation, adapting and moving up the value chain, as technology changes and focusses on hybrid cloud and AI. These high-quality jobs will be a further boost to the company’s activities here in Ireland and drive its very strong position in the Irish ICT sector.”
