Intercom, a modern customer communications platform that helps companies build stronger customer relationships, announced plans to hire approximately 150 people in Ireland to bring local headcount to over 400 by the end of 2022. The company also has offices in San Francisco, London, Chicago and Sydney, and is hiring across all locations and departments at every level, with expectations to reach around 1,000 people globally by the end of next year.
The announcement comes after Intercom celebrated their tenth anniversary earlier this year, surpassed $200M ARR and has experienced sustained momentum across their customer base. The company also recently appointed two new executives, CMO Anna Griffin and General Counsel Cheree McAlpine, and added new board member Fred Ball. VP, EMEA Sales Sanj Bhayro also recently joined Intercom, based out of Dublin.

The R&D activity carried out by the growing team is central to the delivery of innovative solutions for the company and illustrates the tech talent available here. I wish the company every success with this expansion and offer the ongoing support of IDA Ireland.”

This announcement is a further sign of Intercom’s commitment to Ireland, and I wish the team every success as they expand their team in 2022.”

The office’s top-floor will host an All Hands space, family area, restaurant, cafe, fully equipped catering kitchen, and bar. Intercom is prioritizing indoor environmental quality and sustainability with highly energy efficient building design, best-in-class air filtration and UV purification, access to two sunken gardens and large furnished terraces on the upper floors.
