Luxury Apartments Key to Evolution of the City

Castlebrooke Investment have released the first images of the listed building to be regenerated, Garfield & North, on Garfield Street, Belfast.

The building is one of the most unique listed buildings in Belfast city centre and plans for the structure were revealed today at an event organised by Colliers Residential. Castlebrooke’s investment will protect and regenerate the existing structure, while creating 24 luxury and duplex apartments with high quality retail and café units at street level. The building is said to be one of Belfast’s most treasured built heritage assets and the investment intends to bring it back into use.

Speaking about the development, Director at Castlebrooke Investments Estelle Hunt has said that: ‘Garfield & North will bring an exceptionally high standard of living to the heart of Belfast at a time when demand is growing.’

Real Estate Agents Colliers International have also revealed their mid-Autumn residential report today. It has shown that compared to other smaller cities across the UK and Europe, Belfast has an underdeveloped city centre residential market.

Aaron Russell, Director of residential at Colliers International, believes that: ‘developments like Garfield & North by Castlebrooke Investments will play an important part in the evolution of the city centre in the years to come.’
