Limerick City and County Council in partnership with DC Manor Ltd has launched Phase 1 of an affordable housing purchase scheme for private buyers at Woodfield Manor, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.
Phase 1 of the Woodfield Manor affordable housing scheme is a superb new development of 21 houses.
Prices start from €250,000 for a three-bedroom mid-terrace house and from €255,000 for a three-bedroom end-terrace house.
The affordable home purchase scheme is generally aimed at first-time buyers and fresh start applicants and helps people on moderate incomes to buy new homes at reduced prices. Through this scheme, Limerick City and County Council will take a percentage equity share (share of the ownership) in the home.

Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Gerald Mitchell welcomed the launch of the affordable housing scheme at Woodfield Manor, saying, “this is the second affordable home purchase scheme for Limerick under Housing for All and it will provide much needed affordable homes in Newcastle West for first time buyers and fresh start applicants.”
Caroline Curley, Director of Housing with Limerick City and County Council said, “this scheme is one of a number of affordable home purchase schemes in the pipeline for delivery by the Council and offers eligible purchasers an opportunity to secure their own home at an affordable price.”

The online application portal for those interested in purchasing one of the affordable homes at Woodfield Manor will open for applications on Wednesday 18th October 2023 at 12pm.
